Richard recently completed the score for the ITV documentary, The Clinic, Commando: Britain's Ocean Warriors and the popular BBC show, Reunion Hotel. He composed the score for a major 4-part true crime documentary, Ken & Barbie Killers: The Lost Murder Tapes currently streaming on Discovery+.
Richard composed the score for The Choir - Our School By The Tower, a BBC documentary telling the poignant story of the staff and pupils at Kensington Aldridge Academy dealing with the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The documentary won the Royal Television Society for best Documentary Series in 2020.
Richard is the Associate Musical Supervisor of Hamilton, the multi-Olivier award winning musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre, London and is acclaimed for his work as a Musical Supervisor, Musical Director & orchestrator on many successful West End and international musicals.
He also served as the Musical Associate for Series 1 of the ITV drama, Victoria, playing and recording the classical piano for the series. He was an arranger and vocal coach for the prime time BBC TV show, Pitch Battle.
Richard composed the theme tune to the BBC show, Gareth Malone’s All Star Music Quiz as well as serving as the on-screen Musical Director with his live band and providing all the music for the show.
